I sincerely apologize for not updating or commenting for over two weeks. My internet did not work, and since I no longer work at my dad's office I have no way of getting on the internet.

So what has happened?

Many things.


I have a real job now. I work at Jo's Java. They hired me about two weeks ago. I honestly love my job. The people there are the coolest people I could ever ask for and the job is totally gravy. Is it sad that I think making smoothies is fun?

Yurie has arrived. Our Japanese exchange student got here last Saturday. I was nervous at first but things are a lot better now. She's really cute and we're having a good time.

School has started. It's alright, I suppose. Homeroom is a barrel of laughs. No, literally, it is. I've started something at lunch -- the first day of school there was no where to sit so I suggested we sit outside and our group that was originally about five people has grown quite large. Huzzah for starting things.


Sarah, I'm SO glad to hear that you're OK and I hope your parents are OK as well! It didn't register that you lived in that area and then last night when I was reading an article about the hurricane, it said something about Gulfport and I totally freaked out!



I've been watching a lot of Hayao Miyazaki films. One of the plus sides of having someone from Japan live with you. I was disappointed, though, when she got scared watching Kill Bill because I really adore those movies. :[



I have a lot more to say. I KNOW I have a lot more to say. But that would encompass too much space.
